I shop at several different stores that are close to home.Sometimes it depends on which one has the better sale for the week that determines which one I will go to this week. Anyway ,the store I usually get my philly steaks to make home made philly steaks and cheese from,cost six dollars and eighteen cents a package.One of the other sores had them on sle this week buy one get one free,total cost nine dollars and forty nine cents for the two.Thing is when I got to the store there was only one package left. I asked if they had more,was told no,asked if they had substitute they said no.The meat manager said I could purchase the one they had for half off,so I was able to get that one for less thenI normally pay for one,sometimes you just have to ask in order to get the savings. Not Just A Plate of Cookies !!!!!!

On a day when things were not going particularly well for me,I paused in the midst of the madness and asked God "if it was possibl that there would be anything positive in my life today ?" It was only a few minutes later I heard a knock on the door.Standing there holding a plate of homemade oatmeal rasin ccokies (my favorite) were my neighbors two children. To most it is just a plate of cookies, to me it was proof that God was listening, allowing me to know that,even with a gesture such as this aplate of cookies, or aplate of hope. Have a blessed day

Did you know that your pharmacist has a wealth of info for you, and is just waiting for you to ask questions so that they can share that info with you.Also if you need refills they are willing to call your doctor to get them for you.If you are totaly and completly out of a medication depending upon what it is they will give you one or two until your prescription comes in from the doctor. Walmarts has rolls of turkey for a dollar box of kraft mac and cheese for fifty cents. Cook the mac and cheese according to box directions,brown the turkey and when done drain the mac and cheese and add the turkey to it, mix together ,enjoy.For a complete meal I bought a head of lettuce for one dollar and twenty four cents and three tomatoe"s for a dollar, made a terrific side salad.Believe it or not this meal was less than five dollars and serves four people. Have a very blessed day. Oh did I mention that the turkey is plain,or you can purchase italian,or taco turkey and its still only a dollar.

Simple Living

I chose simply livin for my site after a conversation I had with my daughter in law. Because I gave her some info about something that she had not been able to find else where, I jokingly said to her that maybe I would start a news letter simple living or living simply.so here we are. If you have not as yet checked out the $1.00 items at your local Walmart store, you wil be pleasantly surprised.They have some very useful items.
